Today was our first run of getting cans from all the frat houses. I call it a small success! We came home with 6 full bags of cans (that all must still be crushed, so if you have a can crusher you are not using we will). We are well on our way to our goal!
We got invited to Talladega for the races with the Kappa house! Why?? To pick up all of their cans and then we got thinking. What if we rented a truck for the weekend?? Left our kids with family for Saturday and Sunday and all Steve and I would do is pick up cans thanks to NASCAR. Holy Momma we might reach it in one weekend!!
And the last house that Steve went to about cans and where they were, there was one that had a few extra drinks for the day and felt bad that we needed to go through their garbage, so he pulled out some cash from his pocket and handed it to the girls. An EXTRA $14 in the pot!!!
In all it was a fun day and with the addition of the two HUGE bags from Kim! We are almost to 1000 cans! I never thought that something this simple could be so much fun for all of us!
Back to crushing cans!!
