Ruby-ism's

I decided that I am gonna write every day the little things that happen with me and the kids. Those little memories that I want to keep.

July 29th - Sat and sang to Katy last night before she went to sleep. She was so quiet and seemed to really listen. At least one person likes how I sing!

Jan 12th, 2009 - Ruby "Shoot! The sun is out today!"

Jan 13th, 2009 - Hannah "Suck it up, You look like an angel!"

Jan 13th, 2009 - Katy "I wanna ride, Daddy" (down the stairs)

March 17th, 2009 -Ruby "Can you take this now? It's not working....Oh wait. It is working now."
Ruby..."Daddy, I need to be washed now." **From sitting in the washer**

May 11th, 2009 - Ruby "Are you sick Ruby? Why did you just throw up?" "No Daddy. I just have allwergies."

May 21st, 2009 - Ruby "Daddy can you move your phone say I can lay next to you?" Daddy - "But Ruby, my phone is sleeping right now" Ruby - "Well it can sleep over there by Mommy"

July 9th, 2009- Ruby "Mom....Katy smells like butt crack!"

September 7th, 2009 - Daddy - "We're going to play horseshoes. Here is a horseshoe." Ruby - "Daddy, can I be the horse?"

September 21st, 2009 - Ruby - Daddy last night I saw a ghost outside my window. I also saw Lightning McQueen and a bear. The bear was really nice and gave me some lip gloss.

October 29th, 2009 - Ruby - After watching the "I didn't know I was pregnant" show, Ruby said "That lady had to have the baby in the bathtub because she didn't have money to go to the doctor" and "Mommy can have a baby if she takes a bath and screams a little, and then mommy will be happy because we have another baby"

November 6th, 2009- Ruby - I managed to convince Ruby that it was okay for me to trim up her bangs a bit. She won't let anyone cut her hair other than Aunt Emily. Well the bangs could not last until next week, so when I was done this morning Ruby walks in and tells her dad, "Mom cut my brains! and she can throw the brains in the garbage."

November 9th, 2009 - Ruby - I started "Nemo" for the girls to watch in the playroom. I said, "I have some work to do, so please watch your movie." Ruby then said, "Can you come back in here and sit with me when you are done watching your show?" Dang!

November 14th, 2009 - Ruby - sitting inside a box, she says "Look Daddy...Katy and I built a boat. We are going to go to Heavenly Father and get all the people. We're gonna get Michael Jackson and bring him to our house"

February 17th, 2010 - Ruby was commenting about how kids at school have been sick and mommy said "everyone except Ruby". Daddy then said "You must have mommy's genes." Ruby then turns and grabs mommy's pants and with the most puzzled look said, "No I don't?"
April 1st, 2011 - We were about to cross the street to get Katy and Ruby to Children's House, and daddy said "Run girls, Run!"
Ruby said, "No dad, it's a cross "walk", so we don't have to run!"

October 4th, 2011 - We were playing at the playground at the school and Ruby and Katy were sitting in the cages and said they were princesses trapped and that they were waiting for the Mario Brothers to come rescue them form the turtle.

On the way home, Ruby started picking the weeds and had quite a collection when I asked, why are you collecting weeds Ruby? "Because we can use these to make weed bread!"
