Oh my goodness my life has been so crazy and I really am dizzy from everything I have been doing this week! We have had plays, programs, fun days, dirt days, and even cowboy days this week. I have been staying up late working on quilts for teachers and snoozing on the couch when I have a free minute. I have been watching while quilting the Casey Anthony case thanks to WFTV.com and it's been a lot of drama and I am telling you that you can't make this stuff up.
Maybe tomorrow....Oh wait I am headed to Nashville tomorrow for a very special night with my soon to be birthday girl tomorrow. I will one day get caught up on the blog from this crazy week.
i am still alive and jsut wanted to let you know!

Our Day at Gatorland
The second day in Orlando we spent as true Rednecks! We went to Gatorland and hung out with all the gators that they have. It was a crazy but fun day. I managed to leave my phone right outside of the girls changing room and I was so thankful to have someone call Steve's phone with my phone! They did call my mom first and totally scarred her, but all was well in the end.
The girls had a great time feeding the gators! The best part of their day was getting to sit on a live gator! They all still get these huge smiles on their faces when they start talking about it.
I was glad that we took the chance to go because it is something that I think is a you go once and that is enough kind of place. In all it was fun to be in the sun and get a chance to see something that we normally don't get to see :-)
This is when we first got there.
This was from the show that we watched....
The kids even got to feed some really cool animals that were not apart of the gator kind!
Here is Hannah taking a turn....
and Ruby taking a turn....
by the end she even gave that thing a kiss!!!!
We got a chance to see a white gator too!!
Then it was time for Gator Wrestlin'!!!
Here they go....I was glad to get my kids back!
Then this guy was a little bit crazy!! Better him than me right??
Needless to say we all had a great time down in Florida! I think that is where we are going to be moving when I am done with nursing school. When ever that might be. We all love it and love the area too! But before you leave florida you have to have some really good oranges and Katy was sooooo happy that she finally got one on the way home :-)

Great Day for Hannah
Hannah had a great day at the gym yesterday! She finally got her backhand spring all by herself! I can't belive that she finally got it! She is well on her way to being ready for level 4 in the fall. I have to get Hannah her American Girl doll now too since that was our deal. Get your backhand spring and stop sucking your thumb. I am very happy to plan on getting her the reward that was promised! Great job Hannah!!
Our Quick Weekend Away
We had a weekend planned to head down to Florida for the shuttle launch last week. It is on my bucket list to see the shuttle take off and with an okay from Hannah's principle that we could have an excused absense we were going.
It was very up in the air if we were even going to make it down to Florida since the tornados were all over the night before. We are safe and did not have any damage to us or our home. We do have friends who have lost everything and even some deaths. We are all very thankful to be safe and are now home trying to do all that we can to help those in need.
We left Alabama at 4 in the afternoon and pulled into our hotel bed and were asleep by 2 am. It was the morning of "the wedding" so YES I only got 2 hours of sleep before I woke up to watch William and Kate get married. The little girls got up and loved watching a girl turn into a princess. We waited for breakfast to open and yes we were still watching the wedding while we were eating.
As soon as breakfast was over, we headed out to Titusville for Space Launch Park. We made it there very early and were glad that we got there when we did. There were lots of people but we found a good spot to camp out for the day. The kids got to watch the news people do news clips and got to meet lots of people from all over the world! The weather wasn't all that great and I wasn't sure they would let it go with all the wind. I had signed up for launch text messages and before long we got a message that there was a problem with one of the fuse boxes that is used during landings. Then not a few minutes later....yep you guessed it. They scrubbed the launch. So much for my bucket list, but it was a fun experience to be there waiting with everyone else!
Here is Ruby and me waiting for the shuttle. We are just having a good time in Florida
the girls had so much fun watching the news happen!
Hannah waiting at Shuttle Launch Park
Katy is having a ton of fun too!
Way out there in the distance is where the shuttle was sitting and waiting to launch! Maybe next time we go it will launch!
We got back to Orlando really fast and beat a lot of the traffic out too. We had a late lunch at the IHOP and the kids ate so much food and so fast. I was amazed at how quiet they were. We had to go around and see a little bit of where we were staying.
There was a great deal on Mini Golf right by our hotel and they even had some gator feeding too! It was a wild afternoon and totally crazy! Who knew that gator golf would be so much fun!!!
this is what is right at the front of Gator Golf...
Here are us girls playing and looking!
Here is a little bit of our fun that we had!!
Here are the girls feeding the littles! They had a lot of fun and who knew that they eat hotdogs?!?!?!Well that is as much as I can get done for now! I can't wait to tell all of you about our trip to Gatorland the next day!!!
