What we have been up to.......

Let's just say that yes life has gotten a little bit busy again, but when is it not busy these days. I finally got all of my kids back to school after another half week of school out because of SNOW!! It has been so cold here, but thank goodness they are back in school. We were all going a little bit crazy being at home so much and when your kids ask you to go back to school.........well you get the idea.

I have been busy again with another fun semester of school. Last semester ended great and I passed all my classes. I was so happy to get through that first half of anatomy. My teacher wasn't the greatest, but I made my C and happily walked out the door. This is my last semester of school before nursing school in the fall (well I am keeping my fingers crossed that I get in for the fall). I have a much easier semester and less credits so I am happy with school. My anatomy teacher for this semester is much better and it's fun to go to class this time. I have water aerobics this semester too and it's great. I have my exercise built in to my schedule and that makes me feel better to get out and do something but it's something that I have to do for a grade. Talk about motivation right?!?! My other class for the semester is my american lit class. Super cool teacher that is really straight forward about the readings that we have to do. I mean what else can you expect from a guy who walks into class on the first day in a harley jacket?!?!? It will be a fun semester!!

Steve has been so busy!!! He keeps getting tons of trials every week and so I am very thankful that his commute to work is just into our bedroom/office. The hard work is starting to pay off and it looks like the bills that we have will be able to be lessened dramtically this year. I am so thankful that he can work at home and the blessings of technology. I will have to keep everyone updated on his new BIG clients through out the year.

Hannah has been really busy this year so far too. She is back to school and keeping up all of her strait A's in school and working hard at the gym. She has worked hard enough at the gym that she has been moved up to level 3! Her first meet is this Friday and it's more of a learning meet than anything else. She still needs to master a few skills, but she got her kick over on the floor and that is a big thing!

This is also a big year for her too in the fact that she is getting baptized this year. I can't believe that my baby is big enough to make such an important choice in just a few months. She has made the choice to get baptized in Utah this summer along with the other big things that the family has going on (a graduation from high school and a wedding). I will be a fun week and I can't wait until school to get done and start on making her baptism dress.

Ruby has been up to wanting to learn to read and we are trying to help her, but she doesn't want simple readers. Oh no that isn't good enough for my Ruby. She want to read from my microbiology book!! Oh my smart child. She is so ready for school and I can't wait until she finally gets to go in the fall. I think she will have a great time. Her new thing right now is to write things upside down and backwards. It's a great feat and has got to take some smarts!

Katy is doing great too!! She is on her bar all the time that the girls got for Christmas. She is getting strong and wants to go to gymnastics twice a week so she can be on team just like her sister. She is still the cuddly baby of the family and yesterday she even let me sing her to sleep for her nap. I don't get that chance very much anymore, so I am more than happy to take the chance when I get it. She is getting bigger every day and I can't believe that my baby is going to be 4 in the summer. Where did all the time go??

Well it's time for me to get to my class. It's my busy Wednesday of class, helping hannah's teacher, and my lab class for anatomy today. I will try and be better and get more things blogged soon.
