Katy Has Teeth!!

It has been a fun last week of no sleep, cranky babies, sick kids, and holiday madness! Through it all it was kind of a blur but we ended up with Katy cutting her first two teeth!! I am so sad because I have become a huge fan of baby gummy smiles and now those days are over. **sniff, sniff** I now have a pre-toddler. That's what I am calling Katy these days. Other than the teeth that have made their apperance, I have the joy of watching her roll over like mad all over the living room floor, attempting to sit up by herself (if you sit her there), watching her try and do sit ups (which she is getting great at. her head and shoulders are off the floor now!), oh yes and those great push-ups on her tummy.

She is doing so much these days that it is hard to keep up with. I can't believe that at the end of the week it is already December!! Thank goodness that I am DONE with Christmas shopping. Been done since October!!! I had to be done early this year!!

We are getting family pictures done tomorrow, so there will be new pictures of us ALL tomorrow.

Alphabet Crown

It was a BIG day for Hannah on Friday. She received her Alphabet Crown from school. Now this is a HUGE deal because that means she knows all of her letters (upper and lower case) and what each letter says (both sounds short and long for the vowels). Of course it was the only day that I didn't pick her up but it was probably cool since my mom picked her up from school in the favorite yellow bug of hers. Garrett was along for the ride too since Mom had just picked him up from school also.

Hannah had a great day in the afternoon. While we were down putting another offer in on the house we want and talking to the mortgage guy, Hannah was spending the afternoon with Garrett. Doing what else than riding horses, helping feed, and muck stalls. It was a great time for her.

I can't believe that my baby is so big! I am really proud and excited that she has come so far just since the start of school in September!! Now she is working on her blending badge. She will get that when she knows the common two letter combinations for sounds.

Great Job Hannah! We are so Proud of You!

Katy Anne is 5 Months Old

Wow! I have made it to 5 months old. The time has gone by so fast and I'm sure the rest of the time to get her to a year old will go by even faster. Katy still hasn't gotten the memo that we were disconnected 5 months ago. She is my mini-me and always connected. Heck Steve gets on me because I hold her too much!! She likes me and doesn't like it when other people hold her. Do you blame her?? We are always together day and night. I don't think that I have even left her for a few minutes yet, but oh well Katy is the last and I am taking advantage of every moment that I have with her and the rest of the girls being little.




We started out fast and haven't slowed down. I still think that it is so crazy that we had her 41 minutes after we got to the hospital! Now we are to rolling over, trying to sit up, grabbing and reaching for things, and of course talking (loudly thanks to Ruby!!). I can't wait for the next new thing with her.

I am so excited that it has been a great 5 months and I can't wait for the rest of the first year with her!!!

1. I love to shop for my girls! Once I get hooked on a line I go CRAZY! Right now it's Gymboree and have in fact sold just about every other piece of clothing that is not from there.

2. I love to watch my TV shows! (Monday-Journey Man, Tuesday-The Unit and Cane, Wednesday- Bionic Woman, Thursday- Survivor, ER, and CSI, Friday-Numbers, Saturday-Football of course!! and Sunday- The Amazing Race!!) Thanks for the DVR b/c I don't watch them while they are on!

3. I LOVE to talk on the phone!! I think this is why Ruby uses anything that could closely resemble a phone to talk on.

4. I still love to listen to Rick and Bubba on the internet in the morning. I am proud of the fact that Hannah has started to learn the Rick and Bubba Song. "Rick and bubba, Rick and Bubba. Pass the Gravy please. Rick and Bubba. We all know how it goes. :-)

5. I am very addicted to the Twilight Book series by Stephenie Meyer. I can't wait to get my books back from my mom so I can read them again.

6. I am not a very patient person. Waiting to see if our offer is accepted on the house we like is killing me!!
