Here is my reason that I won't be making a long blog post this week. It has been rather hectic already and isn't slowing down anytime soon. It all started on Friday. Work of course all afternoon and night. I had a buzz from all the Dr. Pepper that kept me going, so it was a really late night. I swear that I haven't stayed up until 1 am for as long as I can remember.
The kids had me up early on Saturday. I had found a hamster cage on Thursday at the DI, so we visited the pet stores to see what they had. It was a fun morning and the second place we went to were having Hamster Races that day. We rented two hamsters named Speedy Gonzalez and Scooby and had some fun. Rented is the word. Still haven't convinced Steve that we need a few hamsters added to the family, so we will see how soon a few join the family. I was super tired from the night before and the kids getting me up early, I crashed for about an hour after we got home.
Steve and the girls packed up to go help Melissa and Ron move around 1 or so. I decided that I could grab something to eat at work early and read my new book for a little while since my shift started at 3. I found the new john grisham book, The Appeal at the DI this week for a whole whoppin' 75 cents!! Not bad at all!! So I get my food and someone tells me that I don't start until 3:30. Oh well, just another extra 30 minutes to READ!!! Not a big deal with that. I work until 11 that night. I know that there is no sleeping in on Sunday with it being church and all, so I try to head to bed as soon as I get home.
Sunday is here and we are all up by 7:45. Steve is still asleep but that is over by 8 am! All us girls still needed showers, breakfast, need to get dressed, church bag needs to be packed, my work clothes need to be ready to go and all done in a matter of 45 minutes. This is when I am glad that we only live about 2 blocks from church and that is a very short 2 blocks. We were only 5 minutes late for church, but thinking what we got done in that hour is amazing!!
We pull the girls out of class a few minutes early so that I could get to work on time and work my lunch shift. It was an okay day. Nothing too bad. Just didn't want to be there for another day, since I had only left 13 hours before. I had some good nights this week so the kids came in for ice cream while steve and I had dinner. I know I know it is Sunday and we went out to dinner, but it is like eating at the hospital cafeteria when I worked at the hospital. It's where I work!
At least the evening was fun last night. The kids were NUTS so we put them to bed early and watched some of the Oscars. We got bored with that so we finished up our last few episodes on our DVD of Dawson's Creek. We are both silly but you know it is something fun to watch.
I thought that I would get a good night's sleep with today being Monday and I don't have to be to work until 4:15 today. Guess I wanted sleep too bad. Didn't happen at all. Hannah came down saying that her tummy hurt and wanted a blessing. Steve was out so that wasn't going to happen. She crawled in bed on my side and wanted to sleep with me. That is great but hannah is the roller of all rollers, so I ended up on the couch. GREAT! Then I hear Katy walking around the house. I have no idea what time it is. She is in my room and out of it, back into the kitchen and finally she came to sleep with me on the couch. At least this girl will snuggle with you and not move. I am almost asleep when I wrap my arm around Katy and low and behold.......No Diaper. Now I have to get up again and find a diaper in the dark. No way am I going to chance a night on the couch and get peed on!! Then I hear Steve's alarm go off for him to go to the gym. Katy had gone back in with Steve when she heard the alarm and finally I get a few more hours of sleep all by myself!!! Thank you Lord!!
Today before I even took Hannah to school, I was done with one load of clothes and another in the wash, unloaded and loaded the dishwasher with more dishes, made breakfast for all us girls and we were off. Paid Hannah and Ruby's school bill for March and the cell phone bill on the way home. Only to do a few more loads of laundry and dishes today. Stopped by Smith's and got Steve a HUGE jar of PB so he won't complain that he doesn't have any more at work. Got Hannah from school, dropped by Steve's work with the PB, then stopped by the bread store for white bread (the kids won't eat wheat), got home made lunch PB and J!!! and now hopefully got them all to their beds for naps. Wow! and it's only 2 in the afternoon.

With the Sad...Comes the Funny
Today was one of those days that we had some fun with music videos again. Today was Beyonce and here is what we got. Just plain crazy of the girls. Well mostly of Hannah with a little bit of Ruby tossed in too. Katy is behind the camera of course. Steve's favorite part is "the Robot." Just watch and you will see. Enjoy all my "single ladies" ;-)
I will miss you Aunt Ruby
This morning my mom called and told me that my dear Aunt Ruby died this morning. She was my favorite aunt ever. I visited her many times when I was young. Mom used to take Alvin and I to Disneyland a lot and we would stay at her house. She would let me get away with eating ice cream and cookies for breakfast every morning. Not to mention that we got to pick her Lotto numbers too for the week. She even let Hannah pick some numbers too last time we visited. Can't do that with just mom!! Aunt Ruby was stubborn, but so much fun. I think my little Ruby and her are two peas in a pod. I loved her so much my Ruby is named after her. I am so thankful that we got to see her not to many months ago for our trip in July. She still could not get over the fact that I named my child after her. "Why Ruby??" she would ask all the time, but every Wednesday when her and my grandma would talk she would ask how her little Ruby was doing. Trips to Cali will not be the same when we don't get to take our side trips to Aunt Ruby's house. I will miss you so much My Dear Aunt Ruby. Thank you so much for all of the memories that I have because of you.
Here is my only picture that I have of my two favorite Ruby's in the world together.

The take down by Katy
Here it is on film. The take down of the girls by little Katy. Well I take that back, she isn't so little any more and has lots of techniques to tackle her sisters to the ground. Usually it goes for a high grab and then lift both feet. The girls can't hold her up, so down they go. Then it is the body jump and slam. It is gut wrenching, but so fun to watch. She is even better with Ruby but I haven't gotten that one on film yet. Sit back and watch this 3 1/2 minutes of fun. Katy getting Hannah quite a few times. Good for Katy that women's wrestling is in the olympics now. Any one have any good ideas for a good nickname for her???

Getting ready for Valentine's Day
Dress up Day.....
I am amazed at what my girls are wearing these days. Some days are better than others. I knew I had to pull out the camera when I saw Hannah walk into the living room in this outfit.

Steve and I have decided that Ruby is the ONLY one in our family that can pull off pants that have stripes and vertical at that. So here she is looking cute in another outfit.

Katy's hair is finally long enough for some small twigs!!! Yippie! I am so glad. Finally! Her hair is the slowest growing of all the girls. I can't wait for it to get out of the mullet stage.

Super Bowl Sunday
I know that I am a little behind on my posts for the blog. Strange I know but here is the start of making up to all those blog stalkers out there.
We had so much fun watching the Super Bowl! I had picked up the 3D glasses from the grocery store earlier in the week, so we had some fun waiting for the commercials that were in 3D. We all were being goofy, but that is what it is all about right?? Making family memories.
Here we are all being silly!!! This is what we do when I have a Sunday off from work!!

Monkey's Jumpin' On the Couch
This is what happens when mom is busy with the computer and Katy is my monkey on the couch. A loud scream, so I turn around to find a screaming baby and a mouth that is gushing blood. That deep red color that you don't want to see. Instantly I start checking teeth, but it wasn't that. Katy had cut her upper lip and it was big for my standards and not just a cut that I could say "Suck it up. You will be all right." It took a few minutes to get all the bleeding under control and get a hold of Steve to tell him to come home. I finally got a hold of the nurse at the doctor's office (while my phone decides that it was out of juice for the day). They want us to come in and see how it is doing since it was a good 1/2 inch cut and it looked NASTY!!!
Steve gets home and I run to the doctor with Katy. Thank goodness it was not busy so we were taken right back. The doctor agreed that it was bad but had gone back together rather well, so no problem unless she opens it again in the next few days. Then it will be time for stitches. Katy loved the theme room this time since it was all about football and baseball. I think the thought was in the cast and stitch room that more boys would be coming through, so make it a sports theme. My question is why I have I seen that room 4 or 5 times in the last six months?!?! I have GIRLS!!! Guess my kids didn't get that memo! Girls are screamers, hair pullers, and prissy, NOT throwers, jumpers, play wrestle mania, sports fanitics, and oh yeah the title of the post......Monkey jumpers.
PS. I will get some pics up later today when my camera battery charges. Yes it ran out of juice too yesterday. So much for my documentation of important events. It didn't get that memo either.
