First Day of Spring Break

All of my pictures downloaded backwards, but that is alright. The whole day was so much fun. Hannah said it well with: Mom This is the best spring break ever!

The day started off with all of us deciding that it was the day to go to the Children's Museum up in SLC. We headed off early this morning and made it to SLC in great time. We found an awesome parking spot and headed in. The girls had so much fun with all the things that they could play with. They played with a beehive, a mini town that included a construction site, house, store, water system, and even a farm. Upstairs was a whole new world with a TV stage, Life flight helicopter, magnets, things to build with, and even a place to make a mini movie.

After a full morning of fun we headed off to Temple Square. The girls loved riding TRAX even if it was for only one stop. We ate lunch at JB's and they chowed down mac n' cheese, chicken fingers, fruit and fries. I haven't seen them eat that much in a long time.

After getting our tummys full we walked over to the Church History Museum. We always go through there really fast, but that is how my little legs go. Ruby made me laugh when we got to this huge Angel Moroni statue. She goes...Hello Mr. Moroni!

Hannah wanted to walk over to Temple Square so off we went. We went in to see the North Visitor's Center first. We stopped to look at all the pictures of Christ. We got to the Crucifixion and Ruby busts out with "Jesus is in his underwear. Hope he doesn't go pee on him." Oh the sweet things that my children say. It does get better. We went up to the Christis statue. The girls ran up and said "Hi Jesus. We love you." and ran back down stairs. I did have Katy in my arms and asked her where Jesus was. She gives me this look like I don't see him mom and that thing over there is not him. I could see her processing all of that in that little moment. Needless to say after that she wanted down to catch her sisters.

After that we took a few pictures and then Hannah wanted to go over to the tabernacle. She loves that place for some reason. I am not sure why but we had some fun for Hannah. The girls were ready to go after the demonstrations that they do in there.

We had to walk back to the car and enjoyed the rest of the afternoon. All in all it was a fun first day with no real fights from any of the girls. Today was one of those days that I had fun being a mom and enjoying all the time with them. Memories...that is what it is all about!!

I couldn't put all of the pictures up here so click on the word picture for the link over to my facebook page for the rest of them. ---> PICTURE <-----
