Alabama Trip

Our trip last week started out when we got to the airport. Of course the cheap tickets were for the red eye flight out of Salt Lake into Atlanta, so off we went with all of our carry-ons and the car seats. The flight was super full so we didn't win on the maybe there will be an extra seat for Katy. The kids did okay and finally fell asleep. Atlanta was a mess and super stressful since we had to wake up Ruby (who is a bear when she has to be woken up) and travel to other terminals. Thank goodness that our plane was right there when we got off the train. Our flight into Birmingham was fine but seems like they forgot everyone's luggage into Birmingham. We all got to enjoy the airport for another 2 hours for our stuff to get to us!!

We finally got our stuff and were on our way! We went first over to Steve's Mom's school. The girls were super cute and quite the hit for not having slept very long on the planes. After that we were on our way to Jacksonville!

Jacksonville was so much fun and it was interesting to see how much things had changed in the years that we haven't been there. It was so much fun to show all the girls where mom and dad had lived for awhile. We headed up to Kitty Stone and of course Hannah was asleep by this time so she didn't see much of the school. We did meet Mrs. Jessup so we are keeping our fingers crossed that she is Hannah's teacher next year. The houses that we looked at were great but a little small for our crew. The old house that we really liked went under contract so that was out too. Back to square one for looking at houses.

***gotta get the kids ready for the day so i will be back to finish this long blog post. until then you can look at our pictures!***
