Well I can't believe that it is the middle of the month already!! Where did the first 6 weeks of the year go?? I have been slacking off a little in the whole let's keep up on the blog, but I have been getting stuff put away and doing lots of laundry. It was a great day yesterday. I actually did 3 loads of laundry and folded all the other loads that were clean!! They even got put away too. Now that is a HUGE feat for me because I don't mind washing and drying clothes, but it's the folding and putting away that is my issue.
I have had a head ache and sore throat it seems like forever and I don't know why they won't go away. Well the head ache won't because it seems like Ruby has been screaming more than ever. I think we have finally moved into the "Let's YELL at Mom so she will do something for me" Stage. I hate this stage, so the last few days she has been spending lots of time in the corner or crying. I feel like I am her little servant and all that she wants me to meet every little need right then and there. Well I hate to tell her that she is in for a reality check because this momma doesn't play that game. screaming has been outlawed in my house!! I can't take it from Ruby any more. She can scream loud!!!
Katy turned 8 months old yesterday and I can't believe it!! She is getting around everywhere and her personality is really starting to blossom. She stands up by everything and can get where she wants. Now if we only could convince her to sleep in her own bed and that it is okay. Another tooth has popped through, so we are up to 3 on the teeth count!
Hannah has her Valentine's party at school today and she can't wait! They made valentine boxes on monday and she is looking forward to it getting filled up with valentines from her class. She has also started swim lessons and is loving every day that she gets to go! She is my little fish and asks every day when can she be on swim team and go to meets like Cody! I know that they have 6 and under so maybe before summer she will be my little fish and be able to do summer league swimming.
On a Side note: The 15 inch Beagle WON last night in New York at the Big Dog Show!! We are so excited that a beagle won!!! From NBC: They're calling him the "Regal Beagle"...say hello to Uno, this year's Best in Show selection at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. Uno became the first beagle to be top dog in the 132-year history of the Westminster show, and the first member of the hound group to win since 1939.

I didn't see it myself, but by all accounts, Uno was the rare dog who was a favorite of both the audience and the judge. David Frei said afterwards that it was the most enthusiastic crowd response he had ever seen in 19 years of covering the event on television.
So what happens now for Uno, the most famous beagle since Snoopy? First, it's a media blitz, along with the traditional visit to the famed New York restaurant Sardi's (where he will eat steak off of a silver platter), and he may even ring the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange on Friday.
Oh I did go and pick out fabric and a pattern for the girls Easter dresses! I can't wait to pull out the sewing machine and get going on their dresses. I am doing the dress that is on the pattern cover that is purple with while dots. The main fabric is the light blue with flowers and my contrast is the brown with blue dots. And if you are wondering...YES I am making a matching skirt!! I will just buy Steve a tie and a shirt to match. Well match the colors anyway.
I guess that is all from the home front!!
